Key changes:

The amount for the period September-November will be paid in the first week of December and the amount for the period December-February in the first week of March. To receive the medical allowance without any hindrance, pensioners must submit their 'life certificate' every year in November. If they fail to submit it,Medical allowance will be stopped from December onwards. After the death of the pensioner, the eligible family member (wife/husband) can get this. If the name of the family members is already in the permission form, it is enough to provide only the death certificate of the pensioner. If the name is not there, a new permission will have to be obtained.
